COMMITTEES

BAGEL SALES: Volunteer one or more mornings a week from 7:15 AM to 7:40 AM. Bagel sales operate five days a week. Assistance selling bagels and/or water to students before homeroom,. THIS IS OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISER.

BOOK FAIR: Assist in shifts selling books and helping students choose and pay for their books. This is twice a year during the school day.

SCHOOL SPIRIT: Help organize and sell school clothing. Clothing sales are offered twice a year in the fall and spring by taking orders from an order form. Tally and place order, then drop off orders to school. Students assist by delivering the orders to the homerooms.

8TH GRADE DANCE: 8th grade parents have the opportunity to participate in the planning process for the most exciting event for the 8th grade students. Assistance is needed decorating, organizing food, DJ, gathering food donations, etc. Traditionally, 7th grade parents are needed to chaperone. If you are a 7th grade parent, and wish to chaperone that evening, check off 8th grade dance and write 7th grade parent chaperone. 

8TH GRADE BREAKFAST: 8th grade parents are needed to assist; the breakfast is the morning of graduation in the school cafeteria. Help is needed in planning the breakfast menu, gathering food donations and serving the 8th graders the morning of.

PRINCIPAL'S APPRECIATION SOCIAL: This event is scheduled for directly after school until 5:00 PM. It is open to all Eisenhower students. Assistance is needed in organizing and planning the event. The event consists of the school open to the students to participate in a sports activity for fun in any of the gyms; DJ set up in the cafeteria; food set up; and other misc. tasks. Chaperones needed.

CONCESSION STAND SALES: Help sell snacks and drinks during home games and events. This runs all school year during the Fall, Winter and Spring home games. Assistance is needed immediately after school until the game is over.

STUDENT SOCIALS: Help set up, coordinate and chaperone student socials.

GRADUATION PICTURES: Assist the photographer in keeping organization and collecting envelopes during 8th grade pictures.

FUNDRAISING: Assist in planning and executing many of the PTO fundraisers during the school year. As a member of this committee, any ideas or suggestions are always welcome for discussion.

TEACHER APPRECIATION LUNCHEONS: Two times a year. Assistance needed in setting up and cleaning up; gathering dessert and drink donations; shopping and picking up food if need be; sending invites to staff; and serving teachers.
